Somerset Subacute Rehab is a modern skilled nursing facility, located west of Avocado Avenue, 1-block south of West Main Street in El Cajon, California.

Our 52-bed facility provides the comfort of a warm environment while also making sure you receive the prompt care of a superior clinical facility. With the completion of our recent renovations, we now feature new furniture, remodeled resident rooms, state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, and 2 beautifully manicured gardens. Your full-time nursing staff includes around the clock RN supervision as well as a certified wound nurse specializing in skin healing. We also offer IV therapy, PEC and G Tube placement, and pain management.

For more complex medical conditions, our advanced subacute unit is designed to administer more technically complex medical treatments. Specializing in acute respiratory needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator care with a 24-hour Respiratory Therapy, we work to help our patients achieve the highest level of independence possible. The subacute care team is dedicated to providing the appropriate interventions to avoid unnecessary and frequent hospitalization.
